Spring 1990 Oscar De La Renta Ocean Blues Silk Chiffon Strapless Dress w Gathered Bodice designer-yves-saint-laurent Item# E634I recently had an all blue version of this dress in the shop and I was very happy to have this unusually dyed one come in. This dress beautifully showcases the genius of Oscar de la Renta and the work that he was doing in this time period. The attention to detail alone is fabulous. The dress has a beautiful elegance to it and is quite striking. This sense of refinement is a constant in Oscar's work and I particularly love the earlier examples of it.
