Exceptional Original Late 1930s / Early 1940s Vintage Forest Green Long Line Knit Set 1930s Some of the skirt seamsThis incredible knit set was made from bottle green knitted wool in the late 1930s early 1940s. It features a wonderful diamond shaped knit pattern across both pieces. The top was cut in a classic collarless short sleeve silhouette and lovely longer length and is tightly fitted to the wearers body. A small metal supper at the back of the neck facilitates access, as is common with late 1930s pieces, and there would originally have been a low slung belt
