1950s Sequin Silk Chiffon Ceil Chapman designer-hermes There is one small dotThis is an extraordinary and early black label Ceil Chapman and is really an exceptional example of his earlier pieces. You mostly see the later fitted versions made infamous by Marilyn Monroe, but this is a true 1950s beauty and is just wonderful. The skirt is very full and made of a good weight underskirt with a very fine, tightly woven netted top skirt that floats over the inner skirt. This top skirt is incredibly full and is gathered at the bottom
