40’s/50's Black and White Swirl Print Midi Shirt Dress applique by ArtwoqueElegant early 50s (or late 40s) "New Look" silhouette dress! No tags, looks to be home sewn. The fabric seems to be a satin acetate with a faux shantung silk texture. The print is quintessentially mid century: large black, white and grey swirls, very atomic and hypnotic!
