that being said charging brides a fee to keep and make alteration appointments that are not part of the alteration costs without much explanation was where I drew the line (I was told multiple things from they had to get a new seamstress and that's where the cost was coming from, to they had an additional seamstress who honors their cost but you need to pay to reserve etc..) and honestly I found this to be a sad money grab when so many brides were struggling as it is (sure overall $25 dollars wasn't a huge amount but when asked where this would go they couldn't answer and said "we're doing it to help you")
