Bar Italia - Some like it hot (LP) Power Pop B2 Finer (3:30)It feels like every new Bar Italia album starts as a pastiche, an imitation of all sorts of British guitar bands from bygone eras (2000 2012). The funny thing is: Bar Italia does it with passion, and does it incredibly well. Many of the songs on Some Like It Hot would have been big hits in a different erathink Bloc Party meets Sonic Youthand yet they don't sound dated at all.
