Holmegaard begins production, following the Belgian model, in 1890, Fyens and Kastrup Glasvrk begin their production around 1910. The glass is becoming very popular and can probably be called Denmark's national glass. A version is also made in Hadeland, Norway, where these probably originate. The glasses are in perfect condition.
