1960s Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen John Stuart Dining Table w/ Two Leaves Oddities This is a ‘Hollow’ CaseThis is a Draw Leaf Dining Table, designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mlgaard for John Stuart in the 1960s. The table was produced in Denmark. The joinery is made of brass, and the body of the table is teak. The legs are also made of rich teak wood. The majority of retractable leaf designs feature steel fixtures, making this piece with its brass hardware somewhat of a rarity. We have lightly refinished the piece to keep the hard earned patina intact. The
