Large Mauritanian Amber Bead Necklace ancient glass antique tribal cylindrical bead made24" strand of large round shaped beads is over 100 years old and is found in Mauritania and Niger. It is copal amber made from plant resin, probably simulated man made "Amber" Trade beads, but just as rare! Average size of these rare beads is 30 31mm diameter x 19 20mm thick; stringing hole is approximately 1. 5 2mm. Some of these beads have great sub surface passages.
