African Decorated Calabash Rest White Fabric: 400 Thread Count PureThis is a boldly decorated fluid vessel from the Tutsi tribe of Rwanda. Made from a hollowed out gourd it would have been used for special occasions or cermonies. It has a beautiful glowing patina with some wear commernsurate with daily tribal use. This item has been tribally used. Size: 30cm tall, 16cm wide at its base.
