Summer view Templemeads There was a somewhat imposingA lane that leads up a steep hill from the town of Totnes in Devon that is called Fishchowters or possibly cheaters. The name comes from the belief that it was used by people carrying fish between the towns of Totnes and Dartmouth to avoid paying a tax. For me the walk along this lane is exhilarating, a steep hill with wonderful views. As you can see I started this drawing with some found pigments I gathered on the path, it helps me begin with a free
