Civil War Soldier Probably Western California Photographer 1860s CDV Photo fraternity it appears that she wasOriginal CDV of a Civil War soldier with his kepi and a book or diary on a prop railing besides him. Interesting painted backdrop unfortunately the back is blank and I cannot identify the photographer, however, this CDV came out of a larger lot of 1860s CDVs which were mostly taken San Francisco and Northern California studios. 4" x 2. 5". Blank back. Very good antique condition overall. Light crinkle in the upper left corner of the image but this
