At the end a few grains of black were dropped in the water on each hank

Note that it is BFL and not quite as soft and smooshy as Merino - some with sensitivities may not like it next-to-skin

This is a 2 ply laceweight yarn. These were kettle dyed a pale tonal brown then a light tonal grey and finished with a light wash of pink. The result is a predominantly tonal grey with a bit of beige variegation and pink undertones in areas. It is pretty much exactly the colour of the sun bleached boards on my back deck!
