If the pre-amps were upgraded for modern ones it would really sound like something

I thought these were the same but a customer told me on the Input pcb the first four jacks are shorted

I guarantee these but my liability is limited

Used he Tascam 38 and others used

Tascam 112 motor mounting plate If the pre-amps were upgradedThey are widely used in the Tascam Cassette units and Portastudios as well Listed as in odd cases some one has taken the unit out to change a belt or check the motor then binned it Seen in the 112 though maybe same in others
