I have found some variations of this board with less components or missing an opto unit

There are different models of this board and that may spread over later serial numbers this is the -100

its a common problem In all of the Tascam and Teac units

These were interesting as they used a 4 track head in a two track unit using just tracks 3 4, never seen that before. May have been used in other units around this time
