Underneath the canopy hood the white finish is quite tarnished but personally I think it makes it all the more interesting

The removable conical top allows access to the single E27 screw in bulb which sits in a new brass bulb holder. The top section of the lamp when lit casts a muted soft light whilst the base remains unlit in contrast.
