Kintai bridge this Japanese architect model crosses Nishiki river, Suo. Total length of the bridge 750 feet, the highest above water 78 feet. The bridge, consisting of a series of five wooden arches, was first constructed in 1673. It was destroyed in a typhoon in 1950 but was rebuilt three years later.
